Sigh…what a dramatic ending. Tears were flowing, hugs everywhere, emotions heard. Then Ai has to go and save Alis…basically invalidating all of that. Honestly, why can’t people just leave things? Why does it have to be a perfect ending? I know a lot of people are suckers for those, but I think that the perfect ending is its own antithesis.
Honestly, I was interested by this show at the start…it really pulled me in. It seemed like it would go into the implications of a world where death had a completely different meaning. But then it devolved into simple wish-granting and saving everyone and I lost interest. Sigh…oh well…could have been worse, right?
