Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi Episode 3: So what happens now?

So Hampnie turned out to be Ai’s real father after all. But man…he died in three episodes? Thought he’d last longer than that. He seemed like such a decent character. I mean, he got pretty cheesy close to end, but I thought he did okay. I’m actually kinda surprised he didn’t know about his daughter…figured he was just feigning ignorance.

Either way, the preview seems to show Ai by herself, so does she split with Yuri and Scar? I’m wondering where the story goes from here. Maybe small arcs with Ai using her half-gravekeeper powers? I guess she just travels around from now on?

  1. you know the amazing thing about this is…that a guy called “the immortal man”is the first living character to die…the villager is already dead so you can’t count them, the only one that is still living was ai,hampnie, yuri.i can’t agree with their decision though, why kill the most useful one first?shouldn’t they start with ai ?

  2. Obv troll is obv. Series over? Please dear god let it be over. This seems very episodic and kind of disappointing. It just feels like it has 0 direction. This whole arc (if the series has a storyline) was basically completely and utterly pointless.

Gatchaman Crowds though is actually better than I thought so I guess that makes up for it. Monogatari is finally picking things up.

  3. Honestly speaking, I don’t think that the direction is missing (like Sjcman is saying) and this whole arc was just a needed step for Ai to grow resolve to pursue the mysteries of this world.
It would’ve looked strange for Ai to jump into the world’s mysteries without having a strong reason behind it…
