Mayoiga Final Episode (12): Moving on

Sigh…I have admit I’m probably most like this guy in the group. So, I’ll just go with “yeah, you tell him!”

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_01.44_[2016.06.18_08.17.34]

Symbolism! Also, why can people suddenly see Mitsumune’s Nana- oh I give up.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_02.51_[2016.06.18_08.22.39]

No, guys…have your conversation. Totally not weird. We’ll just watch as the Nanaki casually sits there.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_03.30_[2016.06.18_08.25.27]

Yeah, that’s the kind of friendship Mitsumune wants. You know, the kind of friendship where the two are actually friends…

Uhh…isn’t this really out-of-character for Koharun? I mean, the stuff she was saying to Hayato before when they were talking privately could have been justified, but here she’s obviously desperate to mess with him. Come on, Hayato…see through this.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_04.20_[2016.06.18_08.29.58]

The true heroine all along.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_05.15_[2016.06.18_08.31.24]

How did I not see this coming?

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_06.50_[2016.06.18_08.33.08]

I…can’t disagree with this. Still, saying you have to be emotionless to be a good at researching psychology is probably a bit insulting. Psychology majors out there, how pissed off are you?

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_08.25_[2016.06.18_08.35.45]

Ugh…I have to. “Tripping over nothing while running away in a horror scene” cliche.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_09.49_[2016.06.18_08.37.42]

Oh gee, the person who created a non-existent cousin Nanaki really wanted friends when she was little? Thanks for spelling that one out for me…

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_13.23_[2016.06.18_08.47.40]

This is the “oh crap, we need to resolve everyone’s issues in one episode!” scene.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_18.49_[2016.06.18_08.51.47]

Should I be upset that they make people jarringly disappear from scenes when they leave the village? Maybe that’s supposed to be part of the ambiance of the show, but I can’t help thinking it’s because they were too lazy to animate a disappearing effect.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_20.00_[2016.06.18_08.54.54]

I understand that it’s been revealed that she’s the daughter of the great Nanaki Village researching, but why is this okay? For all we know, there isn’t a solution.

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_21.29_[2016.06.18_08.57.07]

How do we deal with all of these people who were never really introduced into the cast? Screw them…make them stay in the village. That’s for season 2, right?

[HorribleSubs] Mayoiga - 12 [720p].mkv_snapshot_22.27_[2016.06.18_08.58.32]

WHAT? I thought the reason those other guys were staying in the village was so that they could find a way take care of the people who were losing their identity. Pretty much all of the lazy people are in this group leaving the village. Seriously, what?

Is it wrong that I’m even more confused about this show now than I was last week? These Nanaki follow no rules…which is probably what they were going for, but it definitely annoys me. Also, the sudden romance in this final episode seemed all kinds of random. Well, at least it’s done. Tomorrow, I can look forward to watching- oh…

  1. The Nanaki definitely don’t seem to follow any consistent rules and Koharun’s character is all over the place. The decisions of the group make as much sense as everything else in this show.
    Thanks for sharing.
