This show…it’s so silly, yet so serious at the same time. I have no idea what to think of it. So…it was the chickens in charge and they were trying to take over the world. And they were beaten by a camera. And now our main character has sentient hair willing to serve her…that’s actually kinda cool.
So is that all from FairyCo? Will the show continue to revolve around this strange factory? Or will it move towards something else. Well, it’s kind of a curious thing to wonder, but I guess we have to just find out. I think the main thing that makes this show amusing is just how straight the main character can stay despite everything that goes on around her…also how she uses words to manipulate people.
So, I’m not entirely sure what I just watched, but let me see if I can get a grasp on it. First off, we have a world where humans have declined to near extinction, replaced by “fairies”, some sort of intelligent but short life form. The main character (who I believe isn’t named) acts as an ambassador between the fairies and humans. The story seems to revolve around mysterious facility called “FairyCo”, which is basically an automated factory with no one really around but the receptionist.
From what I gather, they’ll be investigating this FairyCo and finding out stuff like who created it and for what purpose. Sounds like an interesting idea. Post-apocalyptic stories don’t usually interest me, so I approach this show warily. I can’t tell whether it’s supposed to be serious (as in life lesson or something) or just random comedy. I’d probably be able to take it more seriously if the fairies didn’t look so silly (I don’t care how cute they are…they look silly).
The opening theme is another song from nano.RIPE…doesn’t really capture my interest. The ending song is…different. Sounds like something from a children’s movie. Did they go through that whole first episode without really naming anyone (except that little fairy guide)? That’s kinda impressive. I hope Assistant is awesome…that is all.
