Is anyone else really curious what Valkana would be like if he lost his Nanaki?
Mini-rant time: I’m really confused right now. My understanding is that these guys are all acting lethargic because they’ve lost their Nanaki (or rather they’ve been separated from their Nanaki for too long). However, Valkana and MaiMai both saw their Nanaki, which presumably means their Nanaki has been cut loose into the world. So why aren’t they feeling the effects? And many of the people we see lying on the ground haven’t even seen their Nanaki yet (at least to the audience’s knowledge), so when did their Nanaki leave them?
Valkana must be triggering so many people in this episode…
Judgeness insists on calling Koharun “boss” here despite eventually telling everyone that it’s Koharun. Seriously? Come on, man.
I wanted to suspect Koharun too, but she looked too obvious as the culprit given her extensive knowledge of the village…there’s got to be more to this, right?
Really? That’s the plan?
Almost like he was drugged? I don’t understand this scene. We already know it’s Koharun and that she was the only person who wasn’t on the bus before reaching the village, so she’s theoretically the only person who could have done this. Why do we need to be told this? Is it because Mitsumune will have to figure out she’s the culprit soon?
This show really expects me to believe Yottsun would drown in such a shallow stream? Heck, he would have been fine floating on his back if he hadn’t tried to struggle so much.
Making so much sense right now…
Meanwhile, the bus driver is off on the side doing…something.
Also, does this count as Bus Driver ex Machina? It seems like he might have opened the path to the Nanaki Village that Mitsumune couldn’t reach earlier. Also, why can Mitsumune see Misato here? When he was in the bus with Hayato earlier, he couldn’t see Hayato’s Nanaki, only his own.
Oh…okay, then. Then why did he act emotionless like a human who’s lost their Nanaki? Better yet, why hasn’t Masaki become emotionless after losing her Nanaki for so long?
Screw you, writers! You just told me Mitsumune couldn’t get back to the village because he had partially healed his psychological scars. We just saw the bus driver heal his own scars and accept his Nanaki, so he has absolutely no business being able to get Mitsumune back to the village.
Oh yeah…these guys…
How does no one die here? They were all standing right next to each other and the guy doesn’t move out of the way until after the bus is already on him. Based on that perspective, all three of them should have been crushed.
Anyway, next week finally ends this…
