Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi First Impressions: Is she a gravekeeper? But…zombies!

Well, this is certainly a strange world. Apparently this show takes place in a world where people become zombies upon death and can only be put down by a gravekeeper. And our main character is one, but isn’t one. She makes for some fun theory-crafting, right? On the one hand, we know nothing of her mother and her father has been shown to be fake, so she could actually be without parents. On the other hand, her mother may have been the true gravekeeper and she’s some sort of pseudo-gravekeeper because she has the magical shovel (still not clear how that works).

I guess I have to sit around and wait until they decide to explain everything…like the whole “god abandoning” thing…I’d like to know more about this god. But yeah…I was cool with the music…the opening was pretty good. The ending was alright…just wasn’t too interesting. Seemed kinda standard.

  1. Its worth a watch to me even though I am not a fan of the character design.

I think the most important question is

No but seriously i’ll give this and Danganronpa a try. Other than that I may take a flier on some other shows but am not holding out hope.

      1. i was just screwing around. Also techinically they aren’t zombies since technically humans cant die in this show. Anyway Madhouse rarely disappoints so I expect good things from this show.

  2. why couldn’t all zombies apocalypse be like this?kind zombies without rotting bodies and a cute girl to kill the pacifist zombies….

also the god in this series is quite nice…true he left humanity and messed up by making human a zombies, but hey,it’s a better alternative then the god staying and wiping out the entire world…
