Code Breaker’s release has been delayed this week, so this show has been pushed up to take its place (I’ve been covering it a week late anyway, so it makes more sense). Anyway, lots of questions…how could Hakaze have inadvertently created a messenger to the future? Theoretically, if she designed her wooden figure to activate when it was found in a way that it would immediately activate after she sent it out, then she could have mistaken the time it would take to be found. But that sort of mistake makes no sense because she should have realized this fact. Though to be fair, I have no idea what this world’s interpretation of time travel is.
So the point of Aika’s death was the Tree of Genesis’s way of ensuring someone would carry out its will after Hakaze had died? Hakaze mentioned that it was weird that Aika died before she got to the island, but if it turns out that’s not the case, then whatever she pushed aside must be the correct explanation. I was expecting a bit more than that, honestly. So now we have the battle between the two friends to decide the fate of the world.
Honestly, I don’t see the point of Yoshino’s actions. As a logical person myself, I see no favor to either side in all honesty…Tree of Exodus or Genesis…both could very easily end the world (especially without Hakaze around to control the Tree of Exodus). So from my standpoint, the best course of action would be to stand by and do nothing…a choice has to be made and I will have no part of it. But Yoshino’s gonna fight for it, so we’ll see how that turns out.
